It was the plot, character development, story lines, and descriptions that made the book as good as it was. There was violence in the book, but the author didn't get into describing it in excruciating gory detail (which I really appreciated). I also rated the book as some sexual content because two of the main characters are in love. They kiss, hold hands, etc. but when they go into a hotel room together and come out smiling in the morning all of those details were left to the reader’s imagination (my kind of romance). The story was a great, edge-of-the-seat thriller where you’re wondering how the author is going to get the main characters out of the fix they’ve gotten into this time.Product details

Love them all - waiting for some more spare change so I can get the rest of them (have up to #9 I think).
I have read all of Kennedy's books and just like the others before, I couldn't put it down. He brings back all the characters that you've come to know and love, all mixed in with history and current events. Lots of humor and suspense. Start at the beginning and read all the James Acton series. You will love it!!!
Kennedy is one of my favorite authors. I like the way he blends historical facts and people with modern fictional characters and situations. This effort takes us from an incident in ancient Egypt to the current turmoil begun during the Arab Spring uprising. I highly recommend Acton fans climb on for a wild ride.
Book 6 in the James acton novel series is as usual a serious action packed story with a pinch of thought provoking politics added. The storyline flowed evenly with a little romance, humor and drama. I particularly enjoyed the part with the royals , including William and Kate, and Harry and the queen. Well recommend it to the action crowd who likes a little history, humor and current political headlines. 4 stars! Much the same as before, but as before told in an exceptional manner. Would recommend that you read all of the James acton novels, as they all interconnect well. Thank you T.C. McDonald
I have read all of Kennedy's books and they are on the edge of your seat can't put down books. Arab Fall is a white knuckler that will keep you reading into the wee hours of the night. J. Robert ties in all the past hero's of the Acton Series and brings Dylan Kane into the fold. You have to start at book one after book 5 you need to read Rogue Operator then Arab Fall, Dylan Kane is introduced in Rogue Operator and will give you the background to understand the character and how he knows Prof Acton.
How close this story comes to what could happen in the world today is absolutely incredible! The almost terror is too close for comfort and you feel as if the horror has stepped off the pages and right onto the front pages of the newspapers. At times I had to stop reading and take a breath - if felt as if history might come true. Acton and Palmer and the men of "The Unit"are there to take care of the bad guys --- and boy there are plenty of them. You will be sitting on the edge of your seat, sofa, rocking chair when you read this. It took about 2 days and I was finished. Now, I'm pacing myself so that my enjoyment will last. When you buy this you will be delighted!!!
I love this author. He writes at roller coaster pace & keeps you breathless. i thoroughly enjoy the way he brings the past & the present together in his books.
Sometimes, I fear for his life because he pulls no punches & the fanatics of this world may perceive him as a blasphemer. His writing, alone, can incite a riot. He is that good at painting a picture with words. He makes you need to read what he has to say....he makes you believe, & he makes you fear the state of the world.
Keep writing J. Robert Kennedy, because, even with my budget, you have been factored in, & I will devour everything.......Thank you!
